What a weekend!

Well, the first week of school ended with a bang, as a good number of GSA members made it to the Bier Garden this past Friday night for an evening of fun. I had a great time, the place offers dozens of different types of beer as well as a host of tasty food items, especially the nachos. (Thanks Jennifer!) So, good call Mel. While Wasabi was the next destination for some of us, I have been told that a good number of members stayed at the Garden well into the night, shooting pool and such. If that turnout is indicative of the type of year we as an organization can expect, then certainly we should be excited.
While the Sunday hike was partially rained out, there will likely be more hikes in the future, and at any rate hot chocolate is rarely an unwelcome alternative :) Adam, thanks for leading the way in the absence of Mel. See you all soon!!
